Scariest: Being in first place in rollerbeetle with 2-3 people right behind you in the final stretch.

Thrilling: Fighting for the top spot in rollerbeetle in the final stretch.

Rollerbeetle better be coming back for GW2...

Scariest: First time I fought the Great Destroyer. I died several times and had several near-wipes. I died when he had a miniscule amount of health left.

Thrilling: Watching my heroes win the above battle with my corpse lying in the lava right in front of the Great Destroyer.

I usually get excited with interesting updates, specially if they add playable content and new features.

I don't get 'thrilled' or scared easily.
But when I read this: "the Live Team will be shifting much of its focus to support the GW2 team"; I got so scared that I have this song repeating in me head ever since.
Well, after a while it turned into this.

It' not that much of a problem. I like those songs. But it gets a little annoying when I try to listen to something else.

Back in HA's golden days I did a lot of pug groups. One night I put together a team and made it to the HOH and held it for a few consecutive wins. Good guilds held it all the time, but for me and my little pug this was pretty thrilling.

I haven't done real PVP in ages now

Scariest - I'm copying Lasai... first time I left pre-searing (and I'd been there for weeks, was level 12), I seriously almost quit playing. I was horrified.

Thrilling - finally getting Survivor this past weekend by capping skills, farming wurms for a bit & turning in my story books (which took care of the last 220k).

Thrilling - six years ago, logging-in to GW for the first time! GW was the first on-line multi-player game that I had ever played, and I had no idea what to expect. It didn't disappoint

Scariest - I could say it was seeing the number of hours I have played over the past six years when I did /age a few days ago, but it was probably something that happened in the desert when I first started. I used to play with the camera zoomed-in to see my character close-up. There was this thumping sound coming closer, my character fell over, and a huge worm filled my screen! I had no idea that the worms in pre-searing came in larger sizes, and I had managed to get through the Northern Shiverpeaks without seeing a worm there.

Thrilling: Seeing Rurik die ;>

Scariest 1: Watching my laptop stutter and jump a couple degrees the first time I balled all 60 vaettirs and hit nuked 'em. I thought my comp died.

Most Thrilling: Completing my first FOWSC 1 month after coming back from a 4-5 year break. What a fun run. (Factions wasn't even around when I first left. )

No. First place for "Most Thrilling" and "Scariest" go to my first foray into Underworld with my Rit. Noob SOS vs Aatxe, then 2 Aatxe, then skele... that was nuts. Then my first ecto drop? Man. Good times.

Second place came a few days ago: Soloing destroyers in Lv2 of Destruction's Depths when my guildies/allies went and aggro'd... everything. Same Rit, same rush of being so close to death, same happy dance at the end. Alliance lesson of the day: aggro control.

Damn yes, one of the most thrilling thing was when i went into UW with my old 55hp monk build and from first two atxes I've got my very frist two ecto. It was so kicking ass moment. At next group I popped nightmare and get wiped with one hit form atxe ;D

Scariest: This happens daily when I witness the general level of written English from those that claim to speak it as their first language. The future is bleak.

Thrilling: The first time I completed a fast-paced clear of DoA. No records were broken, but it was a personal best.

Scariest: My first time 55 farming. I had spent all my money on capping the elite(SS at the time, didn't use SV until HM came to be) and getting the armor(full Scar Pattern dyed red with max energy insignias) and so I HAD to make money. I died many times but much of what I have(7 elite armor sets, Tormented Shield, Oppressor Shield and Spear, countless minis, and hero armor remnants) was gained from 55 farming.

Thrilling: Beating Villainy for the first time and seeing the Wizards Tower. Of course I was quickly disappointed because I couldn't go inside. *lol* There's always GW2 for that.

Thrilling: One of the very few times our pretty much PvE only guild made it to the Hall of Heroes.

It was a 3 team relic run and the other 2 teams were [GWEN] and [CCCP], both high level guilds that won HoH a lot in those days. Well we knew we didn't stand a chance against teams that actually knew what they were doing and we were too busy Whooping it up on Alliance chat that we made it to HoH anyways. We were the ultimate HA noobs.

However when the match started, our leader said just run start running relics and we'll do our best. We ran relics. Boy did we run relics. About 2 minutes later we're looking at the score and it's 10-0-0 our favor. On top of that, we didn't see any enemy players. Huh? Did it glitch? Whats going on? Anyways we kept running relics. Finally at about 20-0-0 we decided to figure out what was wrong. We found the enemy teams. Blue and Red were all piled into Red's base whomping on each other.

Those guys had seen the match up and knew who their competition was. They went after each other with a fury and decided to ignore the poor little noobs in the corner. Those poor little noobs though were furiously running relics like it was the end of the world.

When the score reached 24-0-0, they finally saw what was happening and started running relics themselves but it was too late. They win halls all the time. I think to them it was more fun to beat up on each other for bragging rights than to actually win that match.

It was fun though to brag to our alliance for the next year that we beat [GWEN] and [CCCP] in Halls. Even if it wasn't thru any skill of our own.

Thrilling:

54 Consecutive Wins in Costume Brawl 2008 (The year Ritualists had an absolutely ridiculous bar), staying up til 6:00 am with a class not even 5 hours later. :x

My first, and only, 25 win run in RA.

Beating Dhuum for the first time in Hard Mode.

Beating Winds of Change HM on my Paragon, doing part 3 without being a wuss and using SY.

So many others, these are the freshest in my head.

Scariest:

Facing, and defeating Dhuum after 3 people disconnected just as we're about to fight him.

Beating Arborstone HM during a ZM after both healers died and no one had a res.

Doing Protect the Learned the first time. So many Margonites! I didn't stand a chance xD

Something similar to this. You see, when I first left presearing, it was on an E/R (Yes, that kind of E/R >.>), and I had somehow found my way to the first mission after wandering around Ascalon for a bit, plopping myself in the first guild that asked, and getting killed a few times. I eventually found out about henchmen, and got killed slightly less often. Anyway, I made my way to GNW, and someone happened to mention to me that if your party wipes in a mish, that's it, and you don't rez. I, being ever the optimist, thought that meant permanently (as in, your party dies in GNW and you have to delete that char and start again). Yes, hindsight is 20/20, and it was pretty stupid, but starting that mish for the first time, knowing how often me and the dirt seemed to meet eachother, was... rather frightening.

Had many scary moments when it was about losing a battle, losing a title and stuff like that.

most thrilling moment for me was:
Farming those suicide Hopping Vampires in the beginning of urgoz years ago (before they got nerfed) and getting like 3-5 Zodiac Drops in 1-2minute runs, when r9 15^50 zodiac weapons were worth ~100k/ea....
It was like soooo easy money and only soooo few people knew about that farm untill short before it got nerfed :P
I was really really excited about the drops every run!

When my Guild (at the time) let me accompany them on FoW hm. I was new to FoW and so scared, I didn't know what I was doing and didn't want to let them down. My heart was thudding so fast the whole time
